Chicago Police David Brown said the gunfire blew up at about 9:30 when people gathered at the corner of California Avenue and Polk Street.

The most devastating statement when police said there were 3 children were among the victims.

A 3 yrs old boy, 11 yrs old girl, and a 13 yrs old boy; All of them are in serious condition, David Brown said.
